Based in Invercargill, Venture Southland provides Destinational Marketing, Enterprise and Community Development services for Southland. Currently an opportunity exists for an experienced accounts co-ordinator to join our team.
You will need to demonstrate two to three years experience (qualifications would be an advantage) in the accounting functions that are required to operate a public sector organisation with approximately 200 projects on the go at any one time.
The key aspects of the role include Creditors input and payment, Debtors Invoices, cash reconciliation, assisting with management reports and general liaison. This position will suit a person who has good attention to detail and has the ability to plan for and meet regular deadlines.

It is expected that approximately 20 - 24 hours per week will be required to carry out the accounting duties, but depending on your interests and experience other work may be possible.
